The 3rd and 4th graders celebrated Christmas with a party on December 18th. We had Mc Donalds then celebrated with a Magic Schoolhouse Video on Recycling. We used recycled materials to make Christmas snowglobes. We used recycled baby food jars, ribbon, and ornaments to make the craft. The kids enjoyed learning how recycled materials are important to the world and the need for recycling. We will be doing some projects after the break that involve recycling and taking care of our planet Earth!
The finished product!! We also finished the party off with a game of Christmas Bingo and Charades!!
Then we decorated cupcakes and decorated a cake for the office staff and teachers!!
Here is the class presenting the cake to Mrs. Crutchfield!!
Last but not least, we finished off the party with a candy exchange here is the class with all of their candy!!
A big thanks to Linda for helping make this party a success! Have a safe and wonderful vacation. See you back in 2010!!!
