Candy Houses- A Great Way to Celebrate the End of Reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!

The 3rd/4th Graders celebrated the end of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with a special activity -- making candy houses!!

The students started getting the foundation ready using crackers and icing. Ian used the hershey bars as tiles for his roof. So creative!!

Angelika is using pink icing to help fit the walls together!

Tristan used his chocolate candy to make a chocolate river around his house!!

And Jesse and Cole used all of their candy to make a sugary masterpiece!!

Denis favored the chocolate icing and used it throughout the construction of his house!!

Jesse is making those final touches to his house. Time is running out!

Cole enjoyed using the tube icing, he said that it was easier to put on the crackers than using the spoon.
