This Little Log House

The 3rd graders are still reading Little House in the Big Woods and they are getting a "feel" of living in the olden days! They were able to design and build their log cabins using popsicle sticks. Some added additional touches such as a ice pond, and a loft to make their creation more unique! We will be making apples and serving up a chuckwagon lunch made only by fire. (aka propane burner) Today the students worked on the final touches of their houses!

       It is exciting to see how interested the students are about life back in the day!
