3rd graders Making Spiced Apples

The 3rd graders are reading Little House in the Big Woods. We learned that back in the day there were no spray cans of room spray. They had to create it themselves. We made spiced apples with cloves. It made the room smell so good and the class learned that they can make things from natural resources such as spices just as going to the grocery store and buying room spray. We will be doing a chuckwagon cookout soon keep looking for pictures and new posts!
